Furnace Installation in Calgary

A new furnace should be sized to your home, vented to code and set up to work with any AC or heat pump you have now or later. We install high-efficiency furnaces from Lennox, Goodman, Daikin and Ducane, with the City of Calgary permit handled for you.

  • Heat loss calculation
  • Permit handled
  • Heat pump ready setups
  • Red Seal certified

What's included in a furnace installation

  • Heat loss calculation to size the furnace to your home (required in Alberta)
  • Removal and disposal of the old furnace
  • Gas, venting, electrical and ductwork connections done to code
  • City of Calgary permit and inspection
  • Thermostat setup and full system test
  • A walkthrough of how to run and maintain the new system

Single-stage, two-stage or modulating?

Single-stage furnaces run at full output every time. They cost the least up front.

Two-stage furnaces run on low most of the time, so they're quieter, more even and use less gas. They're the most popular choice in Calgary.

Modulating furnaces adjust output in small steps for the most even temperatures and lowest gas use. They cost the most.

Planning a heat pump? Say so now

If you might add a heat pump in the next few years, we'll install a furnace and thermostat that support dual-fuel operation. It saves you from replacing controls later.

What size furnace does my home need?
